On Sunday 13th November 2022, the 1st Wardle Scout Group and 12thA Rochdale (Smithy Bridge) participated in the annual Wardle Village remembrance parade. The parade – consisting of our Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers and various other organisations (including the Wardle Academy Bands) – was led by two of our Scouts bearing the Union Jack.
The procession left our HQ and marched through the village towards the cenotaph where the service was to be held.
During the service, members from each of our sections lay down their flags whilst our Group reef was placed down.
