On Sunday 26th February 2023, Wardle Scouts and Explorers joined Pennine Scouts and Explorers and had a great day trying all of the activities Ashworth Valley Scout Campsite had available.
Ashworth Valley Scout Campsite have kindly donated their income from their activities to the Scouts, Explorers and Leaders from Pennine Scout District who are still fundraising to attend the Jamboree in South Korea as members of Unit 52. – 25th World Scout Jamboree (Greater Manchester North Scout County).
A big thank you to Ashworth Valley Scout Campsite, the people who ran all of the activities, Sam who did the organisation for Wardle Scout Troop so that Stu could run the Crossbow. Welcome to Lauren, our new Assistant Explorer Leader who was invested by an Explorer on the climbing wall. Conquering fears Lauren confessed to be afraid of heights. Well done!
